Sauna Northern Beaches
Health and wellness is much more than simply exercising and eating right. To look after your health completely, you also need to consider muscle recovery and mental health. One of the best ways our members have managed to achieve this is through frequent visits to our premium saunas in Northern Beaches, which feature a number of amazing facilities where you can come and relax after a long but rewarding workout.
Our premium deluxe saunas in Northern Beaches
We offer deluxe Swedish-style saunas in both our male and female changing areas, so feel free to hop in after your workout or group class! We use traditional ‘hot rocks’, which is the preferred Finnish method and what we think gives a more authentic experience! Our saunas are kept at the optimal temperature to offer the maximum number of benefits to our members, including improved skin health and appearance, enhanced immunity, and even accelerated calorie burn.
Finishing their visits with a sweaty sesh in one of our deluxe saunas is one of our members’ fan-favourite things to do, along with the feeling of boosting the benefits of their most recent workout.
Questions? Answers.
How do I book to visit the Northern Beaches sauna?
No, there's no need for you to book a space at our sauna! We firmly believe our members should be able to enjoy all the facilities we offer, whenever they want - so feel free to walk straight in and visit as often as you like. We don't want anyone to be disappointed at any of our Premier locations.
What are the benefits of visiting a sauna?
The benefits of visiting a sauna are tenfold. While exposing the body to such high temperatures doesn't sound like the smartest idea, it can actually offer plenty of benefits, including:
-
Calorie burn acceleration after exercise
-
Improved blood circulation
-
Skin tightening and better toning
-
Enhanced immunity
-
Potential relief from respiratory conditions
Researchers have indicated that frequent use of saunas can help improve health and even reduce the risk of some diseases such as hypertension, cardiovascular disease, and even certain types of dementia.
How many times should I visit the sauna a week?
You can decide what works best for your body, but most experts believe three visits to the sauna is the sweet spot for many of us. They also recommend that you don't remain in the sauna for longer than 20 minutes at a time, although you might need to work your way up to this length of time to begin with.
What other facilities can I explore?
Our Northern Beaches Premier Centre not only houses our premium saunas but also plenty of other facilities for you to explore, such as our cardio and weight training zones, group exercise classes, a gym creche, and much more.
