Our spacious main studio in Northern Beaches
We pride ourselves on our spacious main studio in Northern Beaches which is designed to give our members the most enjoyable and rewarding workout class experiences. Body Combat is a no-contact class, so you’ll be happy to know our main studio gives each member more than enough room to spread out without coming into accidental contact with another.
One of our fully-trained instructors will take you through your 45-minute class, teaching you the basics before moving on to sequences and cardio-based exercises. Do I need to pre-book classes?
No, at Premier Health and Fitness Centre, there is no need to book in for any of our classes, including Body Combat. Simply turn up ready to work and join in with the rest of our members who are as excited to start as you are.
Does fitness level matter for body combat classes?
We don't want any of our members to feel left out or intimidated to take a class with us, so we urge people of all fitness levels to take our classes. You'll be able to tailor the movements to your current fitness level, so no matter whether it's your first or thousandth workout class, come along and have fun.
Are body combat classes beneficial for weight loss?
Yes, Body Combat is great for weight loss as it takes the body through a number of challenging cardio exercises as well as fluid movements to encourage lean muscle gains. Our Body Combat classes are one hour long, and most of our members can burn around 600 calories during this time. Body Combat offers phenomenal core training, too, with our hour-long session equivalent to over 1,700 crunches!
How many times a week should I take body combat classes?
How often you take Body Combat classes will depend on several factors, such as your fitness level and how many other exercise classes you're taking in between. However, the sweet spot for most of our members tends to be between one and two Body Combat classes a week.
What other facilities are available?
Aside from our Cardio and Weight zones, we offer a range of other facilities to our members, such as our industry-leading functional studio, fully trained personal trainers, amazing creche and a luxury sauna to help you unwind after a long class.
