At Premier Health and Fitness Centre, we know our members value rest and recovery just as much as their workouts. After joining in on one of our group exercise classes or using one of our three workout zones in our Sydney centre, a relaxing swim at the end of your visit might sound like heaven. And with marble bathrooms and complimentary towel service, we aim to make your experience just as amazing here as in the rest of our gym.

After a tough workout, some water therapy can be just what the doctor ordered and help your muscles recover quicker by moving through the soothing water. Our spacious 25-metre pool is also excellent for swimming laps, so you can enjoy some low-impact aerobic exercise as an effective cooldown. Our pool is kept at 29 degrees all year round, so it’s lovely and warm without giving the body something to adjust to.

Once you’ve finished swimming, take a dip in our blissful spa, detoxify in the sauna and steam rooms, or take a thrilling cold dip in our 10-degree plunge pool.

Do I need to book to visit the swimming pool?

Just like our group fitness classes and gym spaces, there's no need to book a session in our swimming pool. As a member you can simply turn up whenever you fancy a swim and enjoy! This gives our members more flexibility and means that they don't have to cut their workouts short to make their swimming sessions.

Is there a complimentary towel service?

Yes! Never underestimate the importance of a clean, fluffy towel, so we offer all of our members free towels with every visit to the Sydney centre. This means you don't have to miss out should you forget your towel at home.

Is swimming good for weight loss?

Swimming is a great way to lose weight and it's an effective form of low-impact cardio, with a 30-minute swim burning around 200 to 500 calories. Moving through water is more difficult than low-impact aerobic exercise on land, so swimming is often more effective without you even realising it.

How many times a week should I swim?

As swimming is low-impact, many of our members can enjoy as many swimming sessions as they want per week. However, if this is the beginning of your swimming journey, you might prefer to start with one or two sessions a week to build up your stamina.

What other facilities are available?

Aside from our swimming pool, our Sydney location also features a number of facilities such as our cardio and weight zones, personal trainers on hand at all times, and a sauna spa with a cold water plunge pool.
