One of our most popular classes here at Premier Health and Fitness Centre is barre, which is a full-body, low-impact workout that uses ballet-inspired movements with elements of yoga and pilates. Our spacious main studio in Sydney
Barre class isn’t often associated with lots of equipment, so you might be surprised by how often we utilise things like weights, sliders, and ballet barres during our class. Thanks to our spacious main studio at our Sydney location, you’ll have plenty of space to use without bumping into other members. The floor-to-ceiling mirrors are also excellent for making sure you’re on top form throughout our workout, and this can help you get the best results from every class.
Our main studio is where the majority of our classes are held at Premier Sydney, so you’ll be able to get well acquainted with it if you use all of our membership perks and join in on multiple classes.

Do I need to pre-book in for a barre class?
No, because we know how annoying it can be to want to join a class but find that it's all booked up. Instead of booking our classes in advance, simply turn up and join in with the rest of our members. We only have a select number of memberships, so you're never left feeling disappointed after being turned away from a class.
Does fitness level matter for barre classes?
We welcome people with all fitness goals and levels to join our workout classes, including barre. Everyone has to start somewhere, and we want to avoid any of our members feeling nervous to join our classes, so we tailor them to all fitness levels so everyone can be included and have fun.
Are Barre classes good for weight loss?
Yes, barre classes can be good for losing weight thanks to their combination of cardio and strength training. Barre classes are popular because they promote building lean muscle rather than bulking to leave you with a ballet dancer's shape and form. Barre is a low-impact exercise, so it's also good for people who can't engage in high-intensity workouts.
